Founded in 1923, this museum is dedicated to the collection and preservation of the history of New York City. It is also known for its world famous toy collection In the 19th century, New York City led the burgeoning business of toy importing and distributing. By the start of the 20th century, New York was center of toy manufacturing. Stettheimer Doll House is one of the museum’s most famous and best loved treassures.
