This is the largest performing art center in the world. There are 12 facilities including The New York State Theater, home of the New York City Opera and New York City Ballet; Avery Fisher Hall, home of the New York Philharmonic; Juilliard School for Performing Arts; the Metropolitan Opera house; The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, including the Dance Library; and an open-air bandshell.
